2010 USI Officers Elected
At the USI club meeting on October 13th the members elected Tim Compton to serve as President, Jorge Ferrer for Vice President for the 2010 season. Dale “Angelina” Malkames was returned as Secretary and Rick Malkames as Treasurer.
Initiatives in 2010 will include Jorge working to bring together USI racers, Masters and otherwise. Hey the spring series is only 20 weeks away…
USI Race Director, Mark Lalloo, will be working on developing a home USI race. Possible venues include FDR Park in Yorktown Heights and Orchard Beach in the Bronx. The idea of a cyclo-cross race at one of Westchester County’s designated parks open to cycling, Sprain Brook, Blue Mountain Preserve, or Graham Hills is also under discussion.

The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for November 2.
