Gimbels Ride Info

NOTE: All rides posted are Non-USI sponsored Local Area Rides

 Gimbels Ride:

This is the premiere ride in the northeast, if not the country, attracting upwards of 100 riders in warmer weather. The ride starts at the south facing steps of Macy’s (formerly Gimbel’s) Department store in the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers NY, at 9:15 am. You can park your car there. You can also join us as we ride northward on Central Avenue (Rt. 100) through Yonkers, Scarsdale, and White Plains. Ride splits into 3 after the warm-up, depending on your ability. All 3 rides finish in the same place, New Rochelle.

The “Unemployment” Ride:

This is a “friendly” ride. No hammering allowed. The ride is a variation of Gimbel’s ride and finishes in the same place, BagelZone in New Rochelle. It doesn’t take a super cyclist to keep up with the pace of this ride so come out and enjoy this morning ride. Plus, you get to ride with the legend of USI, Otto!
